The B license allows the driving of vehicles with a permissible gross weight of less than or equal to 3.5 tonnes. Vehicles of this category may be coupled with a trailer with a GVW of less than 750 kg. The same vehicles hitched to a trailer can also be driven with the B license when the authorized gross vehicle weight (GVWR) of the trailer is greater than 750 kilograms, provided that the sum of the total authorized laden weights (GVWR) of the trailer is towing vehicle and trailer of the set does not exceed 3.5 tonnes.
